I was pleasantly surprised today to find that there is now <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lochlomond-trossachs.org\/images\/stories\/archive\/file\/news\/6Cycle%20Path%20inside.pdf\">a proper cycle path<\/a> alongside Loch Lomond (ie. no need to cycle on the A82).  B&#038;B for the night is in Arrochar, just along from Tarbet.
